I go home every 4 to 5 days and take 3 off. I make good money, but I also drive a truck most would snicker at. Lol. To each their own. Just find it amusing when numbers are told without the real story. The truth is refreshing from time to time.

Bro, you don't have to tell no stories.......if you wake up on the north side of the dirt, and you're happy, and you're loved, it don't make a dime's difference what somebody else does. It's all good.......

Lmao that's all I was saying.. Cause if you bought 3500 home you must have a secret load board we don't know about but yea 3500 4-5 days is very doable... But it's alot of work and most weeks I'm just not motivated.. I'm with you @TennMan some weeks I just cover my overhead and kick back

Unless you're in the southern hemisphere, then you've got issues.

Just from a little over a month I can see sometimes it's just being at the right place at the right time...had a load two weeks ago...preloaded trailer in PA, a little over 200 miles empty/loaded and two live unloads the next morning in NJ...paid $1158! I'm sure people will say I'm full of it, but whatever...gave me an extra day off for the week

Well guys this Captain is on the short timer list. I got a dedicated run going from Denver to Cali leave Monday home Friday 5k to the truck. All approved by SFI.... I'm 90% in leaving. I like it here but to get back to Denver now is Texas or Cali or something wild that you have to be on load board all the time watching for. I have done just fine here.

I figure after all expenses I should net 2500 to 2800 every week. Funny part they contacted me because I had my own authority...52 week contract auto renew. I really don't know why I am hesitant...maybe the Captain needs a week on a house boat.... Thoughts??

    Be Safe Out There
