I'm in Dallas now. We came to a solution.[/QUOTE]
That sounds like something Doc Holliday would say.

I have a drug trafficking felony and Swift is giving me company sponsored training. Companies will definitely give you a chance. Work history was more of a problem for me than interstate trafficking.

Load abandonment, you may as well have ####ed the fleet manager's sister... Lol

Fleet manager's generally are not part of the hiring process. Replace fleet manager with Terminal manager, director of safety or VP of operations.

    RedRover and Lepton1 Thank this.

It is also a great way to get a theft by conversion charge. And if I am not wrong there are some states that these charges start becoming a felony at $500 bucks. 180 gallons of diesel at some of the prices I have seen for diesel lately will eat into that real quick. I am sure that guy was just being funny. However stealing fuel can, does and has got a lot of drivers charged. It is also a great way to destroy a trucking career. What carrier would hire a driver with a stealing fuel on their record?

    Lepton1 Thanks this.

I noticed a "like" on one of my comments in this thread and also took notice this story needs an update. Yes, this thread is 5 years old I know.

The friend in this story did finally get back OTR. He found a small carrier based out of Atlanta to take a chance. That carrier was gobbled up by a larger national mega and they kept him on. Last I heard this man was working on a Walmart account in Douglas Ga and to be honest I can't remember who is handling that account now. I need to reach out and get a better update.
