Recently saw a YouTube vlog from a Hot Shot driver Joe and he had a sleeper conversion in his 1 ton. Says it legal by DOT standards and pretty inexpensive. Here is the link https://www.woodhouse.com/sleeper_berth
Question does anyone here have one? Do you like it? Do you think it's a smart move? Can it be put into anything other than a 1 ton like lets say a 3/4 ton?
Thanks Guys
Anyone seen this set-up ?

Costs the same as about 40-50 nights in a motel. If you plan on being on the road more nights than that, while you operate that truck, it would be a good investment. Probably a tax write off too.

If you have a crew cab you can take out the backseat and the passenger seat and the console. You have a space 84 inches by 40 inches enough room for a twin size mattress. Been running that way since 2010 when I got bit by bed bug staying in motels. Did not want to bring them home.

I'm considering it now that I have made the decision to go with a 1 ton dually instead of a 2500

Wood house. Sleeper kits have been around for a long time. A lot of guys avoided buying them because they didn't want to cut the interior door panel out and gutt the door.
A lot of guys do like Lite Bug did but there's another option avail. There's a place called cowtown sleepers out of Dallas/Fort Worth area that makes sleepers that boot up to the back window and mounts on the bed rails.
Here's one on one of our Owner Operators.

That right there is the most amazing set-up I have seen. Wish you many safe travels in that

It's not mine but thanks. It belongs to a Independent Owner Operator that we load.
Ryan S2016 Thanks this. -
Still is the coolest looking sleeper set up. I'm guessing he has a seal along the sleeper where it meets the back of the truck wonder how long that holds up for

Does anyone use a single axle truck with sleeper, instead of 1 ton dually
