@Cledus Snow a lot of guys call me a recruiter trying to get guys to come over to my carrier, when really I'm just trying to get guys to see there is better opportunity out here at real owner operator companies. This isn't exclusive to my carrier. The truth is of the good owner operator companies, they are basically the same with only minor differences. But the one big thing they all have in common, agent based. And open deck.

90% is probably a lot of company, they will put a load on you that you are already late picking up or there is no way to make on time delivery.

When it's mentioned, "you're the only one available, etc" is what is told.

I just listened to our media message.
They flat out said "teams haul solo loads 46% of the time". Thats company drivers!
How about they give team ICs more solo loads so we dont have to deadhead forever!

I doubt you will ever see that happen except when it's a load that had to go and only an ic team is available. They look after their trucks first, and give you guys only the scraps left from the grown up table.

I'm currently hauling a solo load in VA. There were zero loads around me within 350 miles and around when i got unloaded they threw one load up thats usually on the solo board.

There are some good team loads here, thats not the problem. The problem is the lack of freight they put on the team board and having to deadhead big distances

Two clocks are running at full force. One driver works while the other sleeps.
    That's how.

You can always go to Mercer. You can make a boat load of money, working only 4 days.
