Tomorrow we have a guy going out with 29,000lbs 1,020 cube. That's one full puppy.
I told him to call the bosses and request a 50'.(They would never honor that request lol!)
Or have GFS Ontario pack the load have it come down via Canadian B-Train with there 33' trailers .

So they switched me to the night route, night guys drive 48 ft tlrs with lift gates compared to the 28 ft tlrs I had with a ramp. Not a fan of lift gates as they're pretty slow.

Do you guys with 48 foot tlrs ramp the whole load?

Since all of our routes got tore up from the corporate level and the new bid started last week, I can't really say. And I'm not doing a yum route this bid.

I haven't heard anything about it, so it's probably not a huge deal.

    Yep

Applebee's, Buffalo Wild Wings, Panda Express, and I think just a couple IHOPs.

Down in GA, BWW and Panda are Mclaine, and Ihop is Sysco -- not sure on Applebees. Wanna say US Foods.

We do BWW nationwide I think.

I took an opening order to a Panda last winter, and the big boss there said they used us and another supplier, but they were far happier with McLane. They are generally nice to deliver, except for the bags of cabbage. That's like wrestling with a sack full of puppies.

I know we don't do all Applebee's. We did pick up a bunch more last fall/winter from Maines.

I don't remember the last time I ever set foot in an IHOP. I saw one on a route when I was looking through bids a while back, but I've never delivered one.
