I know but lately it seems like anything corrupted by the PFJ brand the situation goes from bad to worse. According to the staff the night before I stayed there two drivers actually got into a fistfight at the fuel islands.

    Nothing unusual about that...
I have been stopping there for fifteen years and it has always been that way.

The allusion that pilot has something to do with drivers moronic behavior is silly. They are simply a business who provides a service to our industry. The fact that they are successful at it and turn a profit should not be cause for ingratitude.
I for one appreciate the service they provide.

Never stayed at Wilco's unless there was no other option. No WiFi.

Well... that's desparately sad. I rather liked the Hess plazas. And the gas stations, too, but those became Speedways.

Can't blame Pilot or Speedway for that, though. Hess Oil put the stations up for sale.

Oh well. It's not like I go into (former) Wilco/Hess territory much anymore anyway.

News to me... nice to have more fueling options (company fuels at PFJs) but hate less competition.

Will miss the Stuckeys nut roll things.... LOL

From what I've seen their services (or at some locations lack there of)has gone downhill in recent months. Lack of parking (exaberated by the reserve parking program, which doesn't guarantee there will be a parking spot available even if you've paid for it),crappy wi-fi(which only works half of the time,if at all at some locations, again even if you pay for it) and questionable service by the staff at some locations (situation is bad if you have 4-5 drivers waiting on a shower but there isn't anyone to clean them for the next customer). And that's just the tip of the iceberg.
Like so many organizations in the US PFJ has been so focused on QUANTITY (how many locations they can expand to) that QUALITY of customer service has been compromised.

This may bring the hate, but I can't stand DD coffee. Or their donuts. I've gotten their donut bites before, but only because I didn't really have an other option for food where I parked that particular night. Regretted it.
