If you talking about reefer, you have the good ole H&M BAY, WIN TRANSPORT, HARBOR BROKERAGE, PYRAMID TRANSPORT, PREFERRED FREEZER SERVICES (PFS Logistics), RLS LOGISTICS. They might help you out but they pay garbage.

Pyramid now all white volvo fleet, they have first dibs on best loads then the crumbs are brokered. ..and they short you on pay.
H&M Bay...sad too.

Lol. Pyramid has no best loads. All of there crumbs are brokered. Most that haul with them just feel comfortable hauling maybe around 2 a mile doing pickups for free and delivering numerous drops of seafood that takes days.Big_D409 and W900AOwner Thank this.

My buddy for instance. Been a produce/fish hauler for the past 30 years. Used to run for Pyramid, Gloucester Dispatch, H & M Bay, etc. Then they disappeared and Pyramid went through some negative changes, and are basically run by eastern europeans with a fleet of white volvos now.
Caved into their request to do a fish load out of Delaware with 12 stops in Chicago last month (that's right, 12 stops,) with his 280" KW and 48' reefer and after agreeing to the rate and doing the job like a true professional does, he got shorted $550.00 for some strange reason. He's like me...he's 1/2 beat down so bad from playing this rotten game that he doesn't have much energy left to keep fighting on a daily basis for his earnings...so the russians or whatever they are win.
They said in the end that they couldn't pay him what they agreed up front. That's nice...me personally, I would take a ride in my car to that office and face the consequences with some sort of persuader by my side before I let them keep $550.00 of my money after suffering for 2 days in Chicago, but everybody's different. -
Plus most of that stuff is locked in with regular guys. Can't imagine much being brokered out every week. Guess it depends on where you want to roll.
