The 2 check system is pretty simple. One check is a "drivers" and the other is a "truck/company" check. Say after Kaplan's cut the truck made $1000 and the driver is to be paid 28%. The driver would get a check for $280 and whats left (the other $720) would be a truck/company check. Very few companies offer this system anymore since it requires a little more accounting and labor. I'm not sure if Kaplan has the 2 check system, but I do remember a couple others that have it yet.

There is a foundry of brass in Buffalo. Those go into Reefer trucks at 60 degrees until Lonoke Arkansas Remington Arms to be made into ammunition.

I think they're fairly busy. They have a boatload of trucks running ont-mi. Usually when they're slow in the us you'll see some american trucks running in ont too.

Your scales up there. DO they understand american numbers in our weights? Or do they just wave us away?

Yes they are well aware of the difference between lbs and kgs lol. That being said I've accidentally on purpose referred to weight in tons instead of tonnes or kgs a time or two when being quizzed about how much I have on

That's interesting. What is the reason for keeping the brass at 60* F? I'm guessing it has something to do with optimum temp for something or other. Brass, aluminum, steel or any such material will expand or contract if you heat or cool it.

Condenstation and severe winter. Ice storm in Buffalo that did not quit until Akron.

I loved that run, but the price? 70 hours of yard jockeying with that FLD 120, everyone had a turn at it to be fair out of there. There was a street truck for food 24/7 and so on. The people were great. It was righteous.

Condensation and moisture. Or at least that's what they told me when i used to pull out of there back in my reefer days.

Side note: i could of sworn i read that casing plant closed down and moved to a 2nd amendment friendly state a few years ago. Can anyone confirm if they still make casings there?
