The freightliner is in my signature. It's the truck I used to drive! If you're on a mobile device, turn it sideways to see my signature!x1Heavy Thanks this.

Got to haul some equipment this week with the truck!

This is an old Fabtek 344B forwarder. It doesn't weigh that much, somewhere in the 30-35,000 range if I recall correctly. It was oversize because it has a homemade bunk on it that was 10' wide! This was also on my dad's drop-side XL Specialized lowboy.

And then this is a Sakai SW900 black top roller! This weighs almost 30,000lbs and it's loaded on my dad's 55-ton Fontaine tri-axle lowboy equipped with a flip axle. We didn't need all of these axles for the load, but my dad has to haul something big this week so that's why the flip axle is attached to it.
Both trips went pretty good and it was fun! I can't wait to haul more equipment! But this week I am just hauling freight. No big deal! It's going to be back and forth like this often, especially around this time of the year. Equipment moving slows down. In the spring and summer I will be doing a ton of equipment!CallMeArty Thanks this. -
Can you fit hoop fenders or full fenders under that gooseneck? Seems like you want to take care of that truck and it would be a shame to see the back of the bunk get all beat up from stones , dirt etc coming off the tires when ypur hauling equipment. Just a thought. Take it easy and have fun.
Samuel Coyne Thanks this. -
Yes sir, we can. Our plan is to install stainless steel half fenders, then have hard rubber or plastic over the back axle. Even just two days with the lowboy and there was #### all over my sleeper lol.
