Somebody was stealing fuel while I was sleep. I went to bed with 5/8 of a tank. And woke up to 3/8 of a tank. I wonder if I can get cap locks. Anyway I'm sitting at Walmart waiting to unload. I would unload it myself but the trailer is fully loaded. And 50 is not worth the unload. Had a pp on me but that was pulled. Hopefully I have a load before leaving here.

Get caps. That lock.
Ohio's rest areas in the eastern 80 was notorious for fuel theft. It don't take much but a truck with a transfer pump pulling next to you while you sleep.Teion Thanks this. -
Crusader66 and x1Heavy Thank this.

I cannot abide thieves. The last two that tried me in Calumet Chiraq has two deep notches in my tire thumper in the corner to this day.Teion Thanks this. -
I'm going to buy me some friday. I'm at the same loves. So not going to fuel until morning. If i catch any one may God help him.

So I just noticed on my pay settlement that some trips have a p or an r next to it. Come to find out it stands for partial and remaining. When I scan in trips I don't want a partial payment. I want the whole payment for the miles ran. It's my money and I want it now. Anybody know why they do that?

I'm here in Stockton hoping I could deliver early but nope. So I'm parked on the side of the road until morning. It's a plus don't have to start my clock though. So far my trips been between 650-875. But my last three loads been 1000+ miles on them. My next load is 1000 miles back to Texas. Only ran into one problem with the company. And that was trying to get a set of chains. They wouldn't have had to buy some if they would have gotten me some when I was by one of the yards. But they wanted to wait until I had to go on i80.
I got to say went through Donner pass to get here. It's a pretty pass to see. But would hate to take that route when it's pouring rain or snowing. -
Delivered my load at Taylor Farms today in Dallas. After I dropped, hooked to an mty. My dispatcher called after I left going to the yard. He wanted me to relay a load back to Taylor farms. Don't know why the driver couldn't make it.
He was 44 miles away. I get turned around and make it to the swap location. The driver scaled the load but was 820 pounds over on the trailer. So I slide the tandems and get rolling. I dropped that load and was told they don't have any more mtys. I didn't think much about it because I was coming to the yard anyway. I get to the yard to be told your not suppose to leave there without an mty. Guy told me they tell us they don't have mtys but we have to go to a different location to get one. Anyway he had another load for me to do but I was down to only 50mins left on my 11. So parked here until morning. Hopefully I have another load by then. After been gone for 2mos. I'm ready for some home time. Should be home Monday with a shot or two waiting for me lol.x1Heavy Thanks this. -
To me Donner is a place to do battle against snow higher than the truck upgrade and a relaxing cruise waiting for something to break downgrade.Teion Thanks this. -
Wow that's sad. It's amazing anyone survived that ordeal. Yeah going down my nerves was through the roof. My load wasn't that heavy but It still was enough to get my speed a lil to high for my liking.
x1Heavy Thanks this.
