You tell 'em sissies. Well toned muscles can stop bullets reaching vital organs, so a 6 pack is sufficient defense from a six shooter.

If I might ask brother, what is common sense? We hear this often, and "common sense" gun laws are usually code for "regulate your rights". The second amendment is not a suggestion, it's not negotiable, and it's not a privelidge.

Common sense to me, is allowing the people the right they were granted in our founding. A militia of the people to own weaponry that can defend against a government gone bad. Common sense to me, is allowing anyone that's law abiding the right to own any weapon of choice, up to machine guns (if you're rich enough you already can), scary black rifles (with no stupid bullet button), and classified weapons. Explain the common sense behind allowing only the wealthy the ability to own those weapons?

"Common sense" pertaining to guns is a term used by anti-constitutional politicians as a way to look down at constitutional Americans. A way to make them seem like a bunch of "gun nuts".

George Washington said in his writings that he wanted the people to be able to protect themselves, even from HIM. He knew any man is corruptible. Most people misinterpret the second amendment, or don't understand why it was put in. Not only from foreign invaders, but just as much for domestic governments.

So what's common sense to you?

I wouldnt have used a gun on him. My only point was that experience showed me how vulnerable i was in that kind of a situation. Its like a sitting duck and if HE was armed id be screwed and begging Jesus for my safety.

Im not interested in having to beg Jesus for my safety...

During MD's last round of 2A infringements, they instituted what we call the "Handgun Qualification License".

To get that, one has to undergo a background check. Then, you're allowed the privilege of purchasing a handgun in this state, AFTER undergoing the same background check you just did to get the required little plastic card.

That was once called "a common sense measure".

I could see something like this for an MG because not everyone can handle one of those, but for a handgun this is a complete load of BS.

I feel bad that being in CA you think you made sense with this post. The level of brainwashing is nothing short of petrifying.

Pull your head out of the sand and be ashamed of yourself.

On a side note I just paid 200$ to get in line for the Fostech Echo ar trigger/bolt assembly. Lots of lead at a rapid pace, no pesky 200$ tax stamp/waiting period/expense of a registered auto-sear.

And when you move to your new state stop voting like the idiots you just left in the old state or the Liberal Locusts will continue to destroy every place they live. As we say in The South "We don't care how you do it up North".
