Does it shift back to drive when you release the service brake? If so it could be a programming option assuming itshe always done this.

world transmission is not an Allison transmission. Do you have a 2000, 3000 or 4000 series? Or something else? What kind of truck, what kind of motor?

The World moninker is used on the electronic 6 speeds you find in Class A coaches, dump trucks, etc. It IS an Allison transmission though.
ETA...I believe the 3000/4000 series are the most common "World" transmissions you see in the above applications.Last edited: Nov 2, 2016

Yes they call them 'world' transmissions, but that is not the model of the transmission a 2000 is vastly different then a 3000/4000. Also not stated is what kind of truck it is, so there is no help to give to the OP.
