Now THAT was a lot of drama! And I am still leanin toward wanting a union job, but that's another thread...lol
and I'll agree... she is not meant to be a driver. She mentions being stingy with her free time...LMAO... driving OTR for these driver mills you have NO freetime and don't make enough to spend on bottles of wine. Geesh!![]()

Hmmmmmmmm ------
That's catchy and impressive, but I'm afraid I couldn't remember a title like that, even if I was one.
Shux Howdy --- my chest is nowhere near big enough for a name tag that long.
I think I'll settle for
COMMERCIAL TOURIST.
Easier to remember and closer to reality.
Ya reckon.

InMyDreams and cpassey Thank this. -
Lol and I wasnt even trying! I was thinking of unions and how they make things that require the brain functions of a sloth to do, and how they change the titles to make em sound fancier to justify high pay.

when i was in college i worked in a gas station. no joke, when you worked behind the counter instead of being a cashier you were a convenience retail sales associate ... my favorite for the guy that had to work the auto-serve lane ... liquified petroleum transfer specialist.

gotcha! i thought so! you know what's caused me to age so fast ... all this thought of getting into trucking ... and reading the posts ...
no kidding though, i hear that "you look older than ___" crap all the time. hope my defensive (read "not intended to be defensive") reply gave you a start!

Let me get this straight.
Schneider puts you up in a room, and tells you "No drinking."
You drink. Get caught. Then expect the company to say "... You know what, ok. JUST for you, you get a do-over."
If you can't even follow the rules they set for staying in a hotel room during your training, how can they think that you'll follow their rules on the road? Its a no-brainer that they kicked you out: You think you deserve some kind of special treatment!MGASSEL Thanks this. -
I think this Lady want's some confirmation that she made the right choice:
I think she did make the right choice, by not going into trucking and keeping her drinking career at home. The urge to drink or do drugs is very high for some and an OTR career doesn't make it any easier --> every year Schneider gets a few and it doesn't get any easier by the year either.
Once you start it's hard to make that U-Turn and Schneider doesn't do U'sAfterShock Thanks this.
