House votes to end Mexican truck program

I heard about that...That was awsum news..A victory...

 

Not exactly a victory, more like striking out the side in the first inning.

 

I hear ya, but been fighting the battle a while now and I have to take what i can get...lol..atleast it's a step in the right direction..

 

It is a start, once we get this signed sealed and delivered. But we can't forget other problems with the Industry in whole.

 

I think it is hilarious that folks think a Mexican trucking invasion is coming.

The thought of Mexican truckers running down innocent Americans is also pretty baseless. Is there any evidence of Mexican trucks causing carnage within the 25 mile buffer where they have been for 25 years? No.

American's don't seem to be wary of buying and living in homes constructed by ILLEGAL aliens, or eating food prepared by ILLEGAL aliens.

Not one of these trucks will be driven by an illegal.

You all need to get a grip.

 

I belive I have a grip, the fact's speak on their own. Our country as a whole is in trouble, Yet open the Border costing us more jobs.
We can't hold our own now within the trucking Industry in the U.S.
If this was to happen will Mexico be able or concern for our trucks if they would cross over a run in there Country. Mexican Trucks and drivers do not meet our D.O.T. standards. And with all the tax breaks ect.(what they don't have to pay) they can well afford to undercut us.How do we compeat?

The facts are: Loss of trucking jobs by drivers in America! Isn't that enough? Wake up folks, smell the roses! Our country is being inundated by foreigners from other countries (i.e., Mexico). To allow Mexican trucks into our country, on our roads, driving with or without proper insurance etc. etc. is insane! We should be hauling that freight, not Mexicans! It boils down to Mexicans sucking up jobs that we hard working Americans need. Hooray for ending the controversial pilot program that gives long-haul commercial trucks from Mexico full access to U.S. highways. It's about time someone 'up there' realized that it was wrong and harmful to our country.
BRAVO!

 

Yeah, to heck with the American consumer. And to heck with American workers who manufacture goods that are exported to Mexico.

Truckers are more important than those Americans.
