When I was with TransAm, I was low on def and stopped at the TA in Johnstown NY and at the time, they didn't have def pumps so I dropped at the Walmart DC and went to my second stop down at Hunts Point in the Bronx, but I stopped for a nap at the Pilot in Newburgh. When I finished my nap, I limped up to the pump as fast as I could go. 5mph with the hammer down. Made it! Now I won't let go below a quarter. Lesson learned!
What happens when I run out of DEF?

If u get the Flux Compacitor you won't need DEF. Tell your shop to install one.

Welcome to Myth Busters! Its common sense to buy only an approved DEF product for Big Trucks. Surely you wouldn't think I was seriously suggesting peeing in the DEF Tank?
Keep it topped off at the pit stop and you wont have to worry about derating on I-10 somewhere between Fort Stockton and El Paso on a 110 degree summer day.
