Hello all I've done some research on Wils trans & Paul trans and also read some of the comments on their sites but I was just curious if anyone out there has worked for either one of these companies if they could shed a little light on either one of these or both thanks and I appreciate all your help

One is Reefer.....the other is flatbed.
    I know nothing about either.
I hate Reefer myself, so Paul would be the only one I'd even be asking about (if that helps).

    Hoodoo Voodoo Thanks this.

I work for Paul, you can do a search for an overview I wrote up a while back. All still stands true 4 months later. If you have specific questions just hot me up.

just left Wil Trans in August. spent almost 2 years there. basically you are doing all Prime Reefer work. The first year and a half all was good. then freight slowed down. spent way too much time waiting for work or to load and unload. trips got shorter with longer time to get them done. rarely able to move up the appointment times. left there as income was no longer worth it. Other than that had no issues they pretty much left me alone had no issues with dispatchers. Hope that helps

I worked for them three times. They wanted me back the second time and gave me s signing bonus. When i went back for 3rd time, they offered me 2k sign on and 41 per mile. Never was issued a pay sheet to sign after orientation, which is unusual. First check no sign on and 40 per mile. They refused to correct either. Said it was against company policy for the sign on for rehires. Yet they gave it before. They agreed that they told me, but still refused. No call back from John, the person who refused. I am done with them. Lucky to get 2000 mi a week. More like 1700.

After getting more than a pile of lies from Charity a recruiter at Paul transportation I gave up on them. She couldn't keep it straight and told me their policies change week to week and and month to month. I was waiting on a pre-hire letter and never heard back.

JP/WT I'm still in contact with Alex. She's been great and helpful and they are on my shortlist.
Check out Transport National or TMC if you want flatbed. Both were upfront about the details and no run around like Paul Trans.

Who did you work for? The OP listed 2 companies.

I'm guessing @rundowner is speaking of Paul Trans, because the 'title' of this thread only mentions Paul Trans. Probably didn't even read the body of the original post---click and type.

How about providing some details before you go trashing a company. Doesnt matter if its Landstar or CR England, back your statements up with something.
