    First significant system of the season should be doing onshore to Washington mid week and tracking eastward across the northern US into the Great Lakes region.

    I don't think this will be a "huge event" but the first real snow event of the season always seems to hi-light those who seem to have forgotten how to drive on snow/ice over the summer.
