Agreed! When asked why teams are governed faster than 60 (which, as I was told seconds before was for safety reasons), I was not given an answer lol. I know the main motivating reason was $$$, but they like to throw the word SAFETY in at every opportunity...

Now if they're doing away with the overspeed BS, I actually have some faith left in the company for you guys.

 

Safety was never the reason IMO anyway. May have played a small role but it was always bottom line fuel costs. Now that fuel costs are down and look like they will stay down, and the megas got their way with the Eld mandate, throw in a IPO, time to bump the speed up. It's easy to pay a little more in fuel when you get a insurance break for for forward and driver facing cameras that I am sure are soon coming.

What are they governed at now

 

So are they giving you guys a raise in CPM to cover the lost revenue from not being able to make as many miles? If not, that's effectively a pay cut.
