I have been with a company called V 3 Transportation I am no longer there, but it was THE WORST AND MOST UNPROFESSIONAL WORKPLACE!!!! I WOULDN'T RECOMMEND IT TO A DOG!!! The dispatchers are not very well trained and are rejects from Panther. The employees(dispatchers, recruiters, safety, teachers, even the owners) are ALL former Panther rejects. Panther signed contracts with the people they wanted who were qualified to stay with them and ALL the rejects got with this new company created by other Panther rejects. They have no education and no professionalism not to mention they will HAVE YOU SITTING FOR DAYS!!! YOU HAVE to argue to get lay over pay and let's just say if you ever have the horror of meeting them in person they dress the way they act. You can tell where they come from and where they belong. Mostly fast food restaurant or waitresses and some cashiers given a title. This one recruiter had purple hair I mean really? No loads no loads no loads I would advise any good worker to stay away let them have the rejects!!!!!
Stay away from V 3 transportation

nightgunner Thanks this. -
While I was considering getting into expediting, I looked long at Panther and V3. I emailed their recruiting office, and received some basic info, otherwise they were too "new" for me to bank a career on. Not sure on Panther either.

I do well at this company. I'm not sure if your rant is geared towards just V3, or the whole expedite community in general. Sometimes expedite is hard on us 18 wheel drivers. Number one thing I will say is I can't imagine giving up a tractor trailer to drive an expedite truck solo. I drive straight truck team with my wife, and now I really did it because we got ourselves spoiled on a 96" sleeper. I do have fantasies about driving 18 wheelers again, but it will have to be my own 100 inch plus condo truck. Back to what I said though, especially this day in age with qualcoms, expedite is a rough go for solos. The nature of the business is you wait for the phone to ring for a "bid" load. Maybe you run today, and maybe you don't. When freight dries up.....IT DRIES UP!
As a solo driver I think a tractor trailer driver should stay pulling trailers. There is so much line haul freight you should be able to drive today, and know what your doing tomorrow.
As long as I'm expediting I have found a good home here at V3. My thoughts overall is expedite is great for
