The fire extinguisher inside marking is no longer required. The driver must know where its at, it must be secured somehow, and shows to be loaded by a working indicator on the extinguisher. The extinguisher must be a 5 b.c. rating or larger. Multiple small extinguishers that add up to a 5 b.c. or larger is acceptable. Spare fuses are required if the truck uses fuses. If your truck has breakers, no spare fuses are required. Spare lamps are not required, but a lot of guys carry a spare headlamp or marker lamps with them just in case.

I haven't seen a truck that uses fuses in years, and this is coming from a guy who's newest truck is 1995.

2017 cascadia evolution fuse panels under hood and one behind glove box. -
He's not talking about fuse panels, he's talking about fuses. In some of our trucks at work (about 25% of them) they have circuit breakers in the fuse slot. Here is an example of some... http://www.autozone.com/electrical-and-lighting/circuit-breaker

I was referring to the blade type fuses you see in a car. I just call the box they sit in a panel.
