Finally dispatch a load. Pick up in waco,tx heading to Romeoville,il. Drop and hook. Just waiting for them to correct my routing. Had me going to Houston to fuel then to waco. That doesn't make any sense.

 

Yes you will run as a team. Usually after your 4 or 5 day on the truck.As far as the miles not sure. Don't think it matter. It's 6wks out with your trainer. But they will let you upgrade early afternoon 5wks and a day. Detention is 10 after 3hrs.

Not really running hard today. Had to pick up a damaged trailer today. I think the shipper hit something or a driver backed into it. Had a huge hole in the trailer. That took about 2-3hrs. Finally got back to waco to pick up my load. Sitting at a ta in Waxahachie. Going to eat then do 5hrs of driving.

 

Change of mind. Going to park here for the night. Load don't deliver until the 18. Got plenty of time.

 

Did 560 miles today. Going to get up around 2am and finish this load. I'm hoping to get pp out of Illinois quick. That is my least favorite state to drive in lol. Especially in the Chicago area.

Made it to the receiver only to be told load was suppose to be there yesterday. Told her I know but what can I do if I'm picking it up on the 14 and it's a two day drive. My dispatcher sent me a message yesterday with a new appt time. But I guess the receiver didn't get the memo. The only opening they have for me is tomorrow at 10. Sounds like my drop turned into a live unload.

 

Not to happy right now. Tried to deliver this load only to be told again it was suppose to be there Tuesday. Told her they reschedule it for today at 10. Told to call the company. Company give me a number to check in. Then told they won't take it until tomorrow. Great so a day of wasted hours. I'm trying to see if I can just drop it at the ffe yard. But more then likely I will be sitting on it.

 

So I come back to this place for the 3rd time.with security was like I remember your name name. That's bad lol. Go to check in with shipping and told my appt number don't match. Wtf I'm getting really irritated now. She tells me hold on as she call her boss. After about 10mins they finally decided to just take the load. Place was a mad house trying to get turned around. Trailers are everywhere and trucks in doors. The volvo turning radius is amazing. Had to jack knife to turn around. Dropped my trailer. Got a reload out of here. Company tells me it's ready. The shipper says otherwise. So now got to wait 6hrs before it's ready. I guess that's trucking for ya lol.

 

Well once I get loaded got to head down to ky to swap with a driver trying to get home. His load have two stops. One in PA and the other in NY. A little nervous because I never been to NY. So what can go wrong?
