Hi. I have got an issue with my 2010 RAM3500. The fan works all the time from first minute you start it. Does any one have a service that can take a look and fix the issue around Bolingbrook, IL (Chicago) area? Do not offer dealership as i know there are many of them, thanks. Semi truck shop to not do that kind of a service.

The problem is not related to commercial use at all. NO matter what you use pick up truck for it will brake sooner or later. and the same problem appear. Where to fix it?

Have you look at the relays?
    Try a Firestone

While we can agree that the dually is not the best tool for the job, it is much easier to find a small shop than a semi shop. And on top of that, finding a semi shop that isn't 2-3 weeks backed up from all these emissions trucks is an even bigger challenge.

@BigGP just find the closest Midas or Google local repair shops. Any decent shop can diagnose a fan issue.

Problem with dealerships is that they want to replace ALL THE PARTS IN A SYSTEM!
My truck seized in Wisconsin. They said it had grime and dirt in tank. Kind of impossible to happen, but it did. They wanted to CHANGE EVERYTHING! Quoted me 16 grand! 16 STINKING GRAND!!!!!!
I sent another truck of mine to pick it up, my mechanic opened it up, only the injectors were bad. Ordered them and $2900 in parts later and some other stuff and total will be about $4500 total.

Never go to the dealer. Unless you get a good deal when you buy it and get free oil changes and the other fluids.
