Thanks Rob, this has been in the back of my mind all the time too. The last shop that just got done with it said they checked it...only time will tell. Honestly, I am just waiting for our new house to be built next year and then I'm going to buy a 6NZ or a ACERT block and start fresh doing all the work myself (with the knowledgable help from a few that will hopefully let me pick their brains).

True, they probably already make them. I know someone was selling a "rocker stud" kit for a 12v Cummins. At the time ARP didn't have a "kit" someone just found studs that worked for that application and put a label on the box and made some cash.

The thing that gets me is that I think they are still using factory bolts on these prostock engines that are coming from cyclone and they don't seem to have much trouble at all.
BTW, how long has that ford cabover been sitting in your neck of the woods. -
I think I know which one your talking about, is it on SR235? If so I'm not sure where he got it or if it's for sale. You interested? <---dumb question, of course your interested!

Yeah, that's the one, I stopped and looked at it a while back after one of my friends that hauls feed around that territory spotted it. It's not a bad old truck, low miles for an 82 model. I was more so looking at it for the way it is set up, 13spd 3.70s and neway.
I gotta get rid of something first, that's why I was thinking if it had been there a while then it prolly wasn't going anywhere anytime soon. -
Locktite fixes that
