Just pretend you have a broke jaw and do a liquid diet then soft like oatmeal etc. All of mine has been healthy and Ive lost a little over 30lbs while 90% of my drinks are healthy and a good probiotic with multi men's vitamins.

Eliminate salt, sugar and grease from your diet. After a year you should lose 20 lbs and 2" off your waist without any added excercise. There are non salt replacements like Mrs Dash and sweeten with Stevia.

I can vouch for that. Switched to pretty much drinking water only and eating fast food maybe once or twice a month. Dropped just over 20 lbs in 10 months without any change to my activity levels.ChaoSS Thanks this.

When I'm eating unhealthy, and I think this goes for many of us, sugar is usually my biggest problem.
When I'm trying to lose weight (I am right now) I at least mostly eliminate the sugar and processed carbs from my diet. Limit myself to a reasonable amount of protein.
It's hard to overeat when anything above 4-600 calories per day comes from fruit or vegetables.
But for most of us, cutting soda/ sweetened coffee out can do wonders.misterG Thanks this. -
Use grubhub or beyond menu for delivery. You dont have to eat at the truck stop. Get out of your truck and venture out. Heck, use uber and google. If your still using a flip phone then this post is not for you. Many possibilities out there.
Also try and park where theres civilization. Thats where grubhub and beyond menu work best. tip: dont eat fried chicken til after 2pm. They reheat what they didnt sell the night before. Kfc is notorius for thisDharok Thanks this. -
Salt's another bad one. I used to live off Wendy's Baconators. Had one like 2 or 3 times a week. Had one last week for the first time in probably 6 months. Absolutely disgusting. It was like eating salt with a side of burger and fries. I can't believe how much your taste buds adapt when you're eating healthy all the time.Ougigoug, double yellow and ChaoSS Thank this.

Any Montana Wheat location is a good sandwich. They have one in Missoula at Crossroads Travel I think it is.

Yup. I have blood pressure issues (borderline) so I'm careful about my sodium intake. It's amazing to me how some people will sit there and salt their fruits and vegetables. Try cutting that out and your taste buds adapt, so many other flavors besides salt to improve the taste of vegetables you don't like.
BTW, soda, energy drinks, and especially sports drinks have tons of sodium most of us don't need.AModelCat Thanks this. -
I've actually been tracking my calorie intake. My goal is 2000-2500 calories per day. You'll go hungry at that calorie intake unless you're eating low calorie, healthy foods.

An average truck driver at a healthy weight will often require even less calories than that with our lifestyle. A single fast food meal, a candy bar, and an additional soda or sweetened coffee will easily put you over the limit, and that's one meal.
A bag of frozen veggies, cooked with some meat, depending on your meat, can be 500-600 calories, and enough to fill you up for two meals.KillingTime, Midnightrider909 and AModelCat Thank this.
