I signed a paper yesterday from my company stating that we are not required to take our mandatory MPs. There was a lawsuit between the state and another company that went through and mow we are not forced to take MPs anymore. Has anyone heard anything about this? It was all new to me yesterday.

Yes...but if I remember correctly. Intra-State CA drivers are/were required to take them. As a matter of law.

I'll look into it more but It may be the we are under ag. regulations. I'm happy about it cause I'm in the truck for 1 less hour a day. And if I wanna stop there still ok with that.

Law says 10 minutes for every hour worked...so it's not an hour. Unless you've been on for 6. -
