The offer of two loaves of bread a day still stands. It is our company policy not to take any bread for free even when it's offered to avoid any chances of being suspected of theft.
As far as as independent contractors that deliver to the supermarkets those guys own those vehicles. Bimbo is selling off a bunch of those delivery trucks to independent contractors

Mike2633 and Sho Nuff Thank this.

Now that I think about, I think you're right. The only thing I see on the road that even comes close to a Drom box is them movers like Allied or Atlas.

Must be tough finding a place to park at night with those things.

Foodliner did a lot of the bulk flour deliveries for us. I would see them hook up the lines to the side of the building where I worked at. I don't know too much about pneumatic tankers, but the vacuums they used were pretty loud. It took a couple hours for them to empty out and every so often, the driver would step out of the truck and bang the tankers with a hammer.

Imagine what a kind of sleeper you could convert this Drom box into ?
[IMG]A COE with a drombox would give more sleeper space than any large car.

We have a Bimbo bakery here in Elkhart, IN and I'm pretty sure I've heard it pronounced "BEEm-bo" by local newscasters. FWIW I prefer the plain old pronounce it like its spelled way.:D

Might be able to squeeze it into a Pilot lot if you dropped the trailer in a separate spot.

    Mike2633 Thanks this.
