So I was going to put a rtoo 13 speed into my 97 Pete for that big overdrive gear but can't because rear yoke doesn't have speed sensor spots for ecm speed sensor and speedo sensor. Anyone know of an adaptor or another way to make this work?

I ordered all new parts from weller. Guy in phone was shocked on what I was doing. Told me it was a down grade? Any one care to elaborate on that??

A downgrade to one person is an upgrade to another. I considered it an upgrade when I got into my old pre-EGR W900 from the newer Volvos I had been driving. But a lot of folks think newer has to be better.
Bean Jr. Thanks this. -
Ya makes sense. I have a 10 speed now and this 13 will be a god sent and having the big hole against the dash will have some old school nostalgia to it as well. So I would consider it a upgrade. And from what I've read the trans I got is one of the strongest ever made with twin counter shafts and will live along time as long as the right foot takes it easy.

They make speed sensors with 2 pigtails .
You dont need a diffrent yolksnowman_w900, BoxCarKidd and prerunner404 Thank this. -
Its just another 13 speed bud. They all got 2 counter shafts.
Roger McG, snowman_w900 and prerunner404 Thank this. -
I would consider it a downgrade also.
The older rto or rtoo were only rated up to 1650ftlbs at the most , might of been only 1550 actually.
The newer rtlo 13 or 18 are rated up to 2250 ftlbs and shift a lot nicer then the old style.snowman_w900 and Bean Jr. Thank this.
