You have to consider the QUALITY and the SUBSTANCE of the complaints. They say about David Derderian exactly what I said in my original post, that he throws a fit, yells, screams, cusses....ect.
Also you must consider that he only has one or two trucks on the road at any time, and THOSE THREE "complaints" were the result of the CUSTOMERS either relpying to an ADD (on that website) placed By DRD, OR they LISTED their boats to be moved on that website. That's how he generates "leads"...strictly by listings on those types of websites. Really, how many boats have you seen being transported? By ANY company....
    Now...THAT was funny LOL

I always thought his alias was Harold. You know, like in "Harold be thy name"....

DUCKIE, I was NEVER forced to do ANYTHING that was against the law. HE COULD NEVER force me. THAT is why he fired me.
I RECORDED everything, including the last phone call where he repetedly told me to continue driveing AFTER I did not have the hours to do so, right up to the point he fired me. I DID NOT need to "file suit". The State of Michigan DID JUST that on my behalf. And I DID report his illegal activities to EVERY Law Enforcement Agency that I could. But by the time I found out the PROPER AGENCY to report him for firing me for REFUSAL to VIOLATE HOS regulations, it was too late to "file charges", even though they DO have record of it.
Additionally, the State of Ohio visits my website regularly for updates (according to the visit stats...and THEY don't lie)

Nope.....it has already been done, not once, but several times. Besides I out-grew "my AoHELL" many years ago and got a REAL ISP.

    no...no.. no....

that's his twin brother, "Julio" from a previous emaculant conception.......that goes by that alias...........on certain weekends while vacationing in Greece....

anywho, in response to Roadkill, there is a company out here (east coast) named "Joule" that does a hell of a lot of boat transporting.

I am FAR from being a "greenhorn", since I grew up in a trucking family and have been around it most of my life.

I have seen their trucks, and there is another large company in Texas (although I cant recall their name), but the point is, compared to the other types of freight, boat haulers are only a small percentage, perhaps less than 0.25%, of the total number of trucks on the road.

I wonder if that has anything to do with the drivers they are able to hire.....

I bet it has MORE to do with the NUMBER of boats that need moved. I mean, what "smartly ran" company would have more trucks and drivers than the market could bear? Wouldn't that be a foolhardy business decision?
I might add that in 12 years, I never had an "at fault" accident. never was late for a delivery (where it was MY fault), never had a freight claim (where it was my fault), nor have I had more than one speeding ticket (or any OTHER Moving Violation) since 1986. That includes BOTH in a commercial vehicle and my personal vehicle.
I only know of a few drivers that can say that. I also know that tells a lot about my work habits. I guess that would make me a good employee, and I really have no problem getting or keeping a job and can negotiate pretty much what I want from an employer.
Although, I would'nt necessarily haul boats again, I might at sometime again consider hauling other OD loads due to my extensive experience.
