    It happened sooo fast.
    All the wind was blowing crap on fire, embers etc great distances, then it would land and boom everything in that area on fire.
    In part I think that's a big reason why people died and soo many barely made it out in time. Could look fine one minute then boom huge fire the next.

    I have heard so many crazy escape stories from others in town since I've gotten here. It's surreal.

    Since I started driving I had a house in Tennessee. Been visiting Florida more recently mainly to see my parents whom both aren't in good shape.

    I feel your pain man. We went through a similar thing in 03 with hurricane charlie. Something i learned from that: a house is nothing but sticks and bricks. It can be rebuilt. The people inside it is what makes it a home, not the house. Keep your chin up, you will get through this.
