Could you provide a reference for that statement? Because if you have none then you're doing more of an injustice than anything else. Without the regulation to back that up means you're only spreading rumors.

Your right need to blow it off the road so it will not cause a traffic jam.
One quote said police says it legal as long as its unloaded and locked up.Now who in the hell want a gun for protection thats unloaded and locked up????
-
I think a sidewinder should do the trick, ne?
As for unloaded/locked - that's the general description of how to legally travel in places where your permit isn't honored. -
Good ol Texas if the gun or pistol is in your truck or car no permit needed.Has to be conceled on you.
-
Different states dont allow you to carry a gun in a truck or otherwise even if you do have a concealed weapon permit,, Oregon does not honor a permit just like california doesnt, and if you get caught with said weapon they can and will take the weapon from you, then you pay a fine to get it back,, i know this about oregon due to this happening to a relative,, an ex relative that used to be law enforcment in california said the above about the weapon and ammo being seperated during transit depending on the officer that found it. Unless you have a federal firearms permit or license you not allowed to carry a weapon from state to state as your state permit doesnt count in most states..Unless you own a sporting goods store or a pawn shop, or a regular firearms store you probably wont ever get a federal license,, but be on the safe side and check all state and federal laws to be sure.
