    Whoa, wait a minute here.

    My understanding from my tax preparer is that as far as business related expenses are concerned, there's a minimum threshold that has to be met.

    In other words, you can only deduct those if you have, say, $7000 worth or more, and then you can only deduct what's above and beyond the $7000.

    Is it somehow different with lease purchases programs?

    I went to Cook/(KOCH'S) orientation and walked out after 2hrs, they were so mad and I had to make them give me my CDL back so I could leave.
    They put on "DAC"/HIRERIGHT and made it look like I drove for them for a month; I never pulled a load for them.
    KNIGHT Transp. did the same after I left their orientation too.
    My point is; why do Carriers act like Drivers don't have any civil rights?
    I have every right to walk out of any orientation if I want too!

    I guess they know drivers don't have $$$ to hire an Attorney to sue them for "DEFAMATION" so they get away with putting junk on your DAC just to hurt and slander you.

    Written slander (spoken defamation) is called 'libel' (lie-bull). It's criminally punishable, usually a misdemeanor, but I'm not sure how to approach it corporately.

    With all the trucks I see on the road every day and all the truckstops and Rest Area's and Ramps full of trucks everynight Hire/Right must have cut way back on their slandering of drivers or the good attorney's finally got to them!!!
    NAW, Judge Judy is only a small claims court Judge.
