I hope this is the right place to post this.
I have searched online for days trying to figure this all out. Which way is the best way to go when you need to ship a vehicle. I find a quote and then look at reviews on different sites and read a lot of scary things. I am almost to the point of booking a flight to pick up the vehicle myself. These brokers have called my phone 100s of times trying to get me to book the vehicle I need shipped. They are very forceful trying to get me to book. How do you go about finding an independent hauler to do the job?
Broker or independent car haulers

The chances of finding a car hauler who is in the same area as the car and has a spot open is pretty slim, thus the reason for brokers and load boards.
Next question is, are you looking for a good company or the lowest price? -
I don't want the lowest price. My parents drive truck and have taught me you pay for what you get. I saw what a hauler did to my sisters truck during a military move. They caused $5000 in damage to her truck. It was a pain to get them to pay. The vehicle I need moved is in Texas near Ft Hood and I am in North Alabama. With the broker prices I have been quoted $375 to $700. So I really don't know which way to go.passingthru69 and Terry270 Thank this.
