My trainer gets 30CPM for all truck miles, 1cpm for each mile driven by students who upgraded and $300 for each studen that passes upgrade on the first try.

Figure 6000 miles is reasonible. And 3 students cinstabtly working under you and you get ~2300 gross easy

Unfortunately not. red tape is a #####. I'll know what pa is gunna do tuesday. I got an option for both so I'll be back in a rig probably next week or at least at someones orientation.

I also got option c if pa really screws me. my uncle's got a farm and I was he called me up and told me the company he uses for grain hauling ocasionaly has an opening so I might go that route

My mentor is being paid 1.12 for all hub miles, from which they take .10 to pay me. He also gets 35 per stop. This run to Houston that I'm waking up to run tonight(yea I even get the ####ty leg of all the trips lol) is 7 stops at 35 dollars. We are still somehow managing to run 5000 or so miles per week. And the average dispatch is 5-6 stops. Almost all of them me it feels like lol.

I guess it's possibly once in a while but to constantly run 6k plus miles a week is unrealistic. Almost 1k miles a day including breaks and loading and unloading , restarts , and traffic it won't happen often. My uncle trained at swift for a little over a year and his average net check was 1,300-1,500 a week.

Once I was off curfew at Werner, my trainer and I were running 6-6900 miles a week. No excuses. Get the job done. He liked days, I liked nights. It was perfect

That sucks man. Part of the reason I never went into trucking right away. Not going to sit all day for 4 weeks on crap pay. I mean it's training I guess but come on. This country needs to get it's #### together. I got my CDL as a last resort in case I can't get the career I am really after. Why didn't you go SNI? I hear they only drive OTR 1 week then 2 weeks of class time.
