And if you put the tester on and it rockets out of your hand and an 8 foot high jet of coolant shoots out, you're gonna have a bad time lol. Ask me how I know.

For me it was an ISX CM871(egr and dpf), in 2010 PB 386, blown head gasket on #5 going to the small coolant port, sunk liners lol, i'm curious to here yours

4 cylinder Perkins in a zoom boom. It kept popping frost plugs. We had already suspected it was a headgasket. I was going to take over the job after the other guy ran the combustion gas test. He stuffed it on there and it just blew right off, sending coolant everywhere. I pulled the head and found 2 cracks about an inch long each between the valves on one of the cylinders. So much for a quick job lol.coolcraftnet18 Thanks this.

"Does this mean it won't be done today?" haha

I love that line. Some people in management don't seem to realize that there's no such thing as a 5 minute job.
-
But it's only three bolts.
-
They fail to understand how hard those three bolts are to get to or what has to be removed to get to them.
-
I love when customers say that to me then come back a week later and say I should have let you do it.
-
Or you get heck for not being 'efficient' and not one in management has worked on the floor, meanwhile your freezing your nads off mid january, boosting trucks, caging brakes, or hammering on brakes lolStrokerTSi Thanks this.
