Apparently they made a truck with no #### CB option. Why I don't know. But I'm slip seating and don't/won't leave anything on the truck when I get off my shift. Is there anything I can do that won't break the bank? I have a Cobra29 and Wilson2k. Need a way to mount and remove antenna easily. Ideas
Portable CB setup for slip seating Cascadia Evolution?

Get you... I think they call it a freight hauler rig. dad had one when he drove for ABF. had a cb , stereo , and speakers. had room on inside for a change of clothes. and antenna rig like posted above

I have been slip seating for 5 years in a Cascadia and this is my setup. Radio and external speaker are mounted on a piece of plywood. The antenna is mounted on the top of the passenger door with the coax ran into the firewall grommet to the dash where radio is secured with bungee straps. I have found that these trucks have inconsistent ground planes and bonding the door hinges takes care of this. Here are some pics to help explain what I'm talking about.

For anyone in a 2017 Casc Evolution the cb plug is behind the eyeglass holder. And the antenna is utter crap. I'll still be making a setup of some sort. I didn't realize how much an antenna affected the sound quality of peoples voices. This makes my ears vomit.

Can I mount the vice grips on the hand bar beside the utility lights? I'm trying to avoid paying 30-50 bucks for something that will only work for the cascadia.
