Funny story about 2 or 3 years ago a couple of my buddies and some other Farm2Fleet drivers were in Chattanooga. Bill and Lauren took them out to lunch downtown. As they're walking into a restaurant a man comes running across the street screaming and yelling at Bill. The drivers and everyone went inside while Bill talked to the man.
Turns out during one of the many office moves they made in Chattanooga apparently this guy had a long term rental contract with Bill on some office space. Well the office moved, I believe this was when they relocated to Covenant's big corporate headquarters, and apparently this guy was owed some money...... another huge red flag most of us again ignored....
So yeah there were a lot of drivers but there were other people who got screwed also. Investors. There was a LOT of money pissed away in that debacle.
I heard when Bill finally came into the restaurant after that embarrassing scene outside not a word was said about what it was about or anything. You know, nothing to see folks move along...
Do any of you ever recall seeing some rare brave reporters dare to ask Bill or Hillary Clinton uncomfortable questions about Bill's other women or their endless corruption scandals? You know how they would just have a fake plastic smile on their face and not respond to it as if they didn't hear it?
That's how the Hoods act about all the money they screwed people out of. Doesn't phase them one bit. They probably think they are the victims.

KR: Is it preEGR?
Yeah
KR: Fix it. Next caller... lets go to.... Nebraska - Jack welcome to the program.
Hi kevin thanks for taking my call. I just want to suck the peanuts from your turds for all you and Leesa do to help us get swindled by carriers.
KR: thank you, but it isn't just me -- you are the one doing...the...hard...work...
Here's my question. I'm getting 6mpg and I want to know what I can do to bump that up.
KR: Buy a scangauge. THat'll get you a half mpg right there. Then a pittsburg power @R muffler. Then a Fleet @R air filter. And a FASS @R fuel system. That will get you to 7.25. Then slow down and run in 12th.
Oh Ok thanks Kevin. What about the Turbo 3000?
KR: It hasn't worked since they stopped paying me
Gotcha. Thanks Kevin.
KR. Sure. Lets go to... California Charlene welcome to the program.
Hi Kevin, how are you?
KR doing great, what can I do for you?
Well I have an old truck and wonder if I should retrofit or buy a newer truck.

But I live here.
KR: Move. Next caller... Lets go to... Ore-a-gone.. John welcome to the program.
Hi Kevin, thanks for taking my call. Thanks for everything you do to help us little guys. Here are my numbers what do you think?
KR: Lets see... Top line $1.10/mile -- that's all miles, right?
Yeah
KR: OK good. Fuel is 55cpm? You gotta get that down. Make a plan to get that down to 35cpm. You need to do...the...hard...work... Do you have a scangauge?
No.
KR: Get that first thing.
But what about my revenue? Do I need to work on that?
KR: Its not great, but we can work with it. I have guys making $35,000/year running $1.05/mile. Whelp it looks like we are all out of time folks. Stay tuned for Jonesy as he mediates akward conversations from antisocial truckersruffrider, scottlav46, RollingRecaps and 32 others Thank this. -
That has got to be one of the funniest things I've read in a long time and I've never even listened to that radio show haha
RollingRecaps, snowman_w900 and Big_D409 Thank this. -
It seems like at least some of the oo's who were owed money only found out about the bankruptcy from this thread. Were you guys not sent a notice? All creditors must be listed in the debt matrix. Everyone in the matrix is notified via first class mail. The debts listed are then "discharged" by the trustee. It is possible, don't read always, for a creditor not listed to collect a debt post discharge.
Was f2f a LLC?
IRS debts always survive bankruptcy. However, if it's truly a millions dollars there's a lot of room for settlement. -
That's fixing to change

Another O/O that didn't get paid?

No I actually hung in until MaxTrans took over and got caught up on all my pay. Still with them and negotiated a better deal than I had with Farm2Fleet. It was a rough couple of months during the transition due to them not understanding the business model we have worked under but things have been smooth with me for the last few months, AND I get paid every week !! It really is unfortunate for all the guys that couldn't weather the storm or the screwing.
ChromeNut, clausland, mp4694330 and 1 other person Thank this. -
@ruffrider So what is Bill role in this new company? Does he play active one or is a more of recruiting face ?
-
I'd say he could play both roles having two faces.
ruffrider, RollingRecaps, Eldiablo and 1 other person Thank this.
