PAI is an aftermarket supplier of Cat parts
JimmyWells Thanks this. -
The local CAT dealer?
-
Thanks, I'll look into them.
-
I bet I could get a great deal on some Chevy parts from the CAT dealer too!

If want geniune Cat parts, this is what I do, a dealer, Peterbuilt, kenworth, Freightliner, call them and tell them some shop or a friend that buys from them sent you and said that they can give you perfer pricing. Tell the sales guy what you need, at the end when he gives you the total price, say to them can they do better, most of the time they will. This is for parts only. If your a good talker, they will come down quite a bit. If you have a chip on your shoulder which have shown on the other thread, it's not going to help. Just saying. Goodluck
PS; the Cat House are more expensive.bigguns Thanks this. -
I reman Cat head cost me at peterbilt $2800.00 but it was a new casting. Head gasket kit, $650.00. This was last year. Just giving you an idea
JimmyWells Thanks this. -
My "chip" is warranted. Advice is one thing but to practically force it on me is another issue entirely. Thanks for the input but save the passive aggressive remarks please. I may very well be using IPD parts. I'm liking what I see so far.
Diesel Dave Thanks this. -
agkits.com has some decent deals
JimmyWells Thanks this. -
Thanks, Dale. I've read reading very positive things about AGkits. They may be a viable option if I need to go that route.
