Is that on Highway 17 Northern Ontario the bridge replacement?
-
The one just south (east) of Marathon. The cones are blocking the road to the temp bridge we were using for the last year and a half or so.

Better pic.

Pic bridge on 17?

Let me ask you are you wound up constantly driving on roads like this? Or is it just normal everyday for several months a year? I know when I drove in this conditions I was nerve racked the whole time.
-
Ontario the roads are usually pretty much like that at any given time from late October to sometimes April.
You get used to it. Sometimes you kind of enjoy it.
-25C day with the sun shining and hard pack snow under you in the bush it's a great time!tinytim Thanks this. -
There's a little snow on the road but nothing that would give you any problem. Other than the plow ahead of me creating a bit of a blow visibility is great. Very little traffic. It doesn't get much better than that. I guess it takes some getting used to but the conditions are good.
What gets me 'wound up' is anything that really reduces visibility, Heavy snowfall or dense fog can do that. The worst though is often rain. Fresh shiny asphalt, night time, heavy rain/spray, glare from crazy bright head lights. I'll take a little snow on the road over that any day.uncleal13 and TruckDrivingtn Thank this. -

Not running the highway anymore but I hated heading WB up 17 because of all the bridge construction. Glad it's done!
