I've noticed ads around here looking for o/o claiming $260,000 a year,

Not worth your time and won't make good money.

 

Care to elaborate? I've been talking with several of their lease operators and the general consensus is that they are grossing $5k a week. Are they all blowing smoke up my rear?

 

I was there for 3 months made grossed over 4600 2 times. All depends on your dispatche . Also you pay for everything.... all tolls. Spent 1500 in tolls in 1st 2 months until I refused to go to pa and further northeast. Your cost to run the truck on a weekly basis, all inclusive, going to range right around 3500. My experience was not good. But yours may be different. They do have a high turn over rate. Your truck lease is 850 a week, trailer 190, all insurances about another 600. Your equipment is 50 a week, escrow 50 a week until 2500 for 1st yr. I live in the truck and went home once since Christmas and still struggled.

 

So you was taking home less than $1000 a week?

 

After having to take advances for tolls and other expenses taken out if the settlement yes.
