There will not be any companies that would sign you up because of your age. 21 is the minimum age to get a CDL for interstate driving OTR. Most companies want you to be 23-25 years old with a good driving record and employment history.

I did a little research and companies that will hire 21 year olds in your area of the country and provide company training are: Watkins and Shepard, Schneider, Prime, KLLM, FFE and C.R. England. Go to their web sites and do some research.

    CR England, Central, etc.

If Long Haul OTR is what you want go reefer, they seem to have longer loads more consistantly. Plus with reefer experience, you can work for any reefer or dry van company so you would have more options if the time came to switch companies(which I highly recommend after 6 months or 2 years).
