Just an FYI for those drivers local to me (Kennesaw, Woodstock, Canton, etc.) I found a place that does DOT physical exams for $50 cash.
The old Kmart shopping center in Canton by Williams Bros. BBQ - the chiropractor in that shopping center. Appointment only.

I worked at that Kmart for ten years. I was very sad when it closed.zany_steverino Thanks this.

I still remember the suicide by cop that happened there
-
The funny thing is, I was supposed to work that day. I had called in sick, and spent the rest of the day fielding phone calls asking if I knew what happened and if I was okay.zany_steverino Thanks this.

Make sure that doc is certified to do DOT exms by the FMCSA or your DOT exam will be worthless...and dont forget to register it online
zany_steverino Thanks this. -
Hope everyone has a happy 2017!
DRAGON64 and Finalsomnia Thank this. -
To you as well my friend.SHOJim Thanks this.

It is FMCSA but how do I register it?
BTW, I passed the CDL learner's permit test (general knowledge, airbrakes and combination vehicles) and submitted the Learner's Permit and the Medical Examination to Millis (yesterday)DRAGON64 Thanks this. -
I can only speak about GA. You can take the medical card into the DMV or scan it and upload it to the states DMV site in the cdl section.zany_steverino Thanks this.

You will pretty much need to show the medical card every time you go to the DMV so they can scan it in when you take your driving test.
zany_steverino Thanks this.
