X1 heavy. Im doing flatbed. Wveryrhibf is mostly during business hours weekends off. And I'm not afraid of driving at night been doing it 3 months. But its not fair when I'm team driving barely learning and my trainers making me do ALL the night time driving trying to find places to take my break at 2 am and switching at 5am. If I had my own truck 90 percent of the time I wouldn't be dealing with that. And they have small microwaves with low settings and even if I did have to buy a 3000w converter let me worry about that. You act like having a microwave is asking for so much. The money I would make in 1 week on my own truck would pay for my microwave and the invertor. Idk why some people are all trying to trash talk.
How much pay to stay on trainers truck?

Go company
If you can't net $900 the only one to blame is yourself
Company trucks run 1500w inverters which runs a microwave easilyFullMetalJacket Thanks this. -
Ok. Then I'm just going to tell me trainer no. One reason why I was considering staying k. Was bc he has an automatic. Ive only have literally 2 hours total including my driving test on stick shift. I'm kinda scared getting a stick shift for company truck. But I guess im going to have to learn.

I feel differently about the trainer. Sounds to me like he just wants to use the student to cover the graveyard shift while he gets the easy day driving. Best to solo upgrade and get your own thing going.

That could be.

Yeah. That's what I've been thinking. I wouldn't mind driving at night if parking wasnt so hard and if I didn't have to wake up to help strap the load halfway threw my reset.

Tell him to strap his own load.TequilaSunrise, FullMetalJacket and mpm Thank this.

I'm just going to get my own truck. Kinda sucks considering I'm coming off 2 weeks off for holidays. Idk how long its going to take to get my.truck and on the road making money. Probably.be without a pay check for 3 weeks but whatever.

Just FYI I don't net 900 and
hope this helps, call your dispatcher, tell them you would like to go solo and how long will it take to get you in a truck. Let them know you will run with trainer until truck is ready, when truck is ready have your dispatcher book a load near terminal and trainer can drop you off.. Thank the trainer for all his training. And let him know you decide to go solo. No way you should have to wait 3 weeks for a check, ludacrouis -
