Check the connection between the seat and where it plugs into the wiring? Maybe the plug worked loose?
ShooterK2 Thanks this. -
Mine does that in very cold weather. I just re-latch the seatbelt over and over as I run the cab heat until it stops. I try banging the metal into the latch harder and harder. I don't know if it helps, it feels better than doing nothing.

Or do what I did when I drove one. Creative use of a paper clip will get rid of that annoying chime.
Amram, CoyoteExpress and KB3MMX Thank this. -
Ya, that works too... or so I hear...
ShooterK2 Thanks this. -
Lol I'll admit to it. I don't think it's a law to have that silly chime. If so, my old KW is a rolling hazard every day. Lol.
By the way, I wear my seatbelt. I just don't like having that dinger barking at me if I take it off rolling across a parking lot. -
If it's a 2016, I'm sure you have plenty of Warranty left.
Take it to the Stealership and let them deal with it. -
That's the issue, you drive a Volvo.

My pup chewed through my wires while driving down the road so I just tied them together and electrical taped em. It's ugly but 2 years going strong and never heard a peep again.
The shifter harness however required a 'proper' repair with LOTS of electrical tape as a buffer. She doesn't ride with me any more hahaMidWest_MacDaddy Thanks this. -
Just one more reason for me to keep my 2005
