How the hell do you let an employer owe you 7grand? first late check is the last for me.

 

Maybe it's all the new guys. new drivers are easy to rip off because it's real hard for them to find work! noone wants to hire hew guys so they will stick around through more crap .

My first job, boss was awesome but I stuck around while he lost work for far longer than I should have and wasn't making any money myself. even if I didn't like the boss, probably would have stuck through it too.

my cousin got his cdl and got on with a Saskatoon gravel company. they gave him trailers with no safety so he called the boss and was told quit being a princess and get to work or #### off and go home.... he ended up getting a massive fine by the dot his first trip out and quit driving after that, he said if that's what the trucking industry has become then he wants out..... I told him he was just a idiot for taking them but on the spot he was afraid of losing his job.

 

Around here that could be one cheque.

 

It was not because of multiple late checks, I am only missing one full check..... but I went through all my pay stubs and logbooks and started do the math and found a buch of missing money that has been adding up over time.

 

I had something similar happen. busted my butt way over hours for way more days then I should have and only got paid 2500 for the month. I was paid a % but he wouldn't show his statement's to me.

Later when I bought my first rig, I wirked the same area and found out just how much he was making.

#### a lawyer! I caught that son of a ##### on a grid road and got my money's worth!

 

Even with the downturn?

 

My drivers are still making 8-12k a month. Were working like dogs but the pay is still there.

Well...... i have tried numerous time to contact Mr. Ian McClintock to which he doesnt want to answer. i was supposed to be paid on the 15th of December and its now December 28/2016 and still no pay. My Daughter had to go with no presents becouse of Ian not paying. this guy is hobitual in not paying his staff when hes supposed to. STAY AWAY FROM HIM. HES A CROOK.

 

Like I said before with this clown,it's all fun and games until he crosses the wrong person and if/when that happens, they may leave the courts out of it.
