That's what I want to know as well. Did the OP get to meet the Navajo chic?
Is she hot? Babe's in the office?

OP alot of company wrenches lie.
I was in a union shop that had some awful wrenches.
Never believe any wrench, check it yourself.

Let's all agree on one thing please.
    ALL dispatchers are weasels.

Come on people, whats wrong with you. We all should act like that, so the companies would learn not screw us left and right. I respect the man who stands up for himself.
Wish you the best on your new venture!

Unlike drivers, who all really were Navy SEALs in the past, and never have any fault of their own in the issues they complain about. Which is why I asked the name of the tech, as I'll know right away the reputation they have, and also find out the full story.

    ladr Thanks this.

Dude I wrote up my mixer once cause it had a gash across the tread on the driver steer. You could peel it back and see the steel belts. These are the steers you see on cranes and such.

" Above defect need not be corrected for safe operation of vehicle " signed off.

I just took it into the plant managers office, walked him over to the truck, said see you tomorrow.

Can you find out who is driving around with the weiner dog & the wife?

I'm not saying he's wrong, but I'm going to take everything with a grain of salt, all the same. We have mechanics with different levels of experience, just as we have drivers, and, to put it frankly, this industry is chock full of ############, those who embellish, etc, and that's on both sides of the fence.
Daschunds aren't super uncommon. You got any more info?

That's why I say always check it yourself. It's your ###.

Older couple. White. Very inexperienced. Nice new rig & trailer though. I made a " full golf clap for Navajo thread ".

I considered blocking the entrance to your Phoenix terminal & having my truck sprawled across 83rd Ave here in town, then waiting for someone to ask WTF I was doing. I was going to say " I'm trying to be a Navajo driver. "

I really wish I hadn't made my little joke. It seems there's actually a heated discussion going on here.

Need to begin reporting their malicious behavior to the FMCSA, Their trucks are dangerous, they are not maintained to meet the rolling demands this companies office employees demands, half of the office staff is Yale or College Grad, those who NEVER drove, understood cycles, clock, hours etc will set you up into HOS Violations, they will see too it that you MIGHT have the legal drive time to make the delivery but not have the time to leave after a unload to park somewhere for a safe shut down reset, most these so called customers like Walmart and such DO NOT WANT TRUCKS hanging around on their turf for resets, unless your a WALMART truck, You cannot use the PC mode to drive EMPTY to a safe haven to avoid HOS violation. The more FMCSA knows the better our rights can be protected. Your CDL is your lifeline, you loose that you could very well even loose your regular Drivers license for an auto, thats F'd up totally.
Dont let ANY COMPANY in trucking make you think they are your good Buddy 10-4, cause really your just a old rag to be used then tossed first chance they get! You worked hard for the license , dont let the low life cause you to have it yanked.

@ B.A.: It dont matter if you talk to shop to see if its in working order, they will say yes to anything to get you out of their way, Arizona pulled that on me with a swap out truck, I asked ARE YOU SURE THIS TRUCK IS IN GOOD MECHANICAL ORDER, ALL CHECKS OUT? Yes he said, all is good.
Heh, From Arizona midway into Colorado, stopped to do a 30, at a truck-stop called Gun-smoke, where you park on the Dirt patch, it was windy as hell, got out checked front of truck all was clear underneath in front and back, go in come out about 20 minutes later low and behold what do i see.... a huge radiator puddle larger than a manhole lid looking back at me. DM tried to blame me for driving OVER SOMETHING... Paaaa leasseee! Dude get off that whacky medical weed, the hose had a crack in it the MECHANIC did not check thoroughly! So These people are retarded and laughable. Feds needs to investigate them seriously, first truck they gave me never was looked over, and it had worse issues then this 2nd one, that one blew up on me in Nebraska, the U joint and Drive shaft exploded on the 80 freeway, i was hauling 43 thousand behind and that truck began bucking like a mustang, scared the hell out of me, whipped that thing into the shoulder emergency lane... make a long story short, this company mistreats everything ; they have the behavior of a irresponsible kid with no carry over to wising up. Its their responsibility to see too it their equipment is safe to run, if you were O/O thats a different story but a company driver shoud never be put in a vehicle thats not safe to drive! END OF STORY! they do have a lemon law, a defect is a defect!
