Best Companies for New Drivers??

PTL is awful

 

Some companies don't do another physical; they use the DOT physical you received for cdl school. They only do blood pressure and drug test.

I think Prime is the best mega there is, good training, good starting pay, they surely have the freight, and good equipment. The trailers are top knotch, most of the time. Can't go wrong with 44 cents to drive their eco truck, if your not a big driver.

 

Eco. Eco truck? You make it sound like a weed eater or something. Is it really that bad?

Eco truck is lightweight so as to haul heavier loads. Small trucks and have to remove the passenger seat for sufficient space for personal items such as a cooler or small refrigerator. Some drivers spend their own money and install shelves or something over the bunk to store clothes. Probably doesn't bother new drivers since they've never driven a full size truck.

 

What????...on the trailers is "We Drive a Fine Line"

 

The small print underneath the "We Drive a Fine Line " reads "between McDonalds and starvation" ....

 

Idk why they call it an eco truck. It's just a small ### truck, so small that they pay you more to drive it lol.

 

Just remember truthful recruiting is an oxymoron!
