No loads are done without someone having a contract. Period.

Is there a certain time of the year that the request for bids come out? About how often do you receive a bid for your area? I'm sorry for asking so many questions but I am very interested in getting at least one contract.

There are contracts coming up for bid all the time, year round. We get emails on an almost daily basis. The area I'm in doesn't have too many open bids these days as most of the contracts are locked up by long-serving reputable carriers who tend to hold onto what they have. Our longest contract goes back 30 years...

I see A LOT come across for California lately so keep going with the process you've started and something should come up for ya.
