We all say we're fine sometimes when we're not.

But, do you tell your wife/husband/kids/even your DOC the truth about how you really feel?

When I'm asked how's my health? or how I'm doing? I just answer "as well as could be expected"....

Well, I'm not one to whine about a little ache and pain here (as age goes up, the aches and pains seem to go with it), so I tend to just keep it to myself.

I'm willing to bet that 99% of us guys won't say anything about our health until it's really severe. It's part of the whole "be a man" philosophy. Yanno, just rub some dirt on it and get back out there.

I've got some minor health issues, but I don't say anything about 'em to anyone unless something is really hurting me. And I'll gripe about it to my g/f or a close friend for days on end before I even think about going to the doctor.

I am not currently insured so I cant get sick
Even with that said I don't believe in government health care
I was brought up not to complain
My dad like many of your dads was like super man, he could work all hours and never complain
Cut his finger almost off and say hand me a napkin
And I take pleasure in imitating his attitude

It does seem to be popular now days to complain about almost any thing
Heck they even made up a couple new diseases to keep the paying customer happy

You really need to be insured . Get diagnosed with a medical problem before you get insurance and you will not like what insurance companies say about preexisting conditions . Many life insurance companies require a physical . If you've been avoiding doctors the physical may turn up something that could cause the company to reject you .

I know , I'm on my wife's policy through her employer . But need a doctor and call for an appointment and first think they ask is who you're insured by . Around here it's tough to find a doctor too . Too many are retiring and few are accepting new patients . Try to get a doctor without insurance .

Hmmmm No health insurance. No major expenses, other than a couple of steriod shots in the past 2 years.

    That say anything?

BTW, I do have long/short term disability insurance. I'm not a complete idiot.

Nope, I keep my mouth shut. By the time I complain about anything, you can be sure that it is a problem. I really avoid saying anything to my husband, he worries about me.
