2 years to reach top rate. Team drivers are paid more, over .70 by now.
Yeah, we have bag drivers. You can choose between wild bag or wild turn (extra board). I didn't have a choice when I started, but I only bagged out for 2 months till my first bid. Most bag drivers are 5 days a week, with two days off, and none of that being on call round the clock monkey business. Our wild drivers are to expect a call within about a 4 hour window, the same time frame every night. Some drivers stay out longer. I only bagged out about 2-3 times a week, the rest were turns.

That's not bad. It takes 5 years to make top rate at NEMF. I bed out a couple times a year.
-
Waw, does that mean it's not hard to transfer between terminals? Appreciate all the useful info, thank you.
-
I was looking at NEMF before I went with OD. Their Camp Hill, Pa terminal is nearby.
-
Not hard at all, just needs to be an opening. You lose all seniority, except your current pay rate. If the company needed to transfer you for some odd reason, you keep your seniority and it's transferred to your new terminal's seniority board.speedyk Thanks this.

I go to camp hill a good bit. That's a 584 mile turn for me.
-
Sweet! You guys are like Ward and usually only pull vans, right?
