I'm with Ms. Patty on this one, go with schneider and get your OTR experience. You've done enough ready mix for San Antonio. But feel free to make the choice that YOU think will best suit you. Good luck brother!

I would be willing to say the money will be the same at either. Especially once you pay to live on the road. I am anti mega fleet though. So I am a little bias. I would go with the local company if they are a good solid place. Just my two cents.

    mpm and ibarra4602 Thank this.

Not that I advocate doing it, but you can always B.S. Your way into a local gig, if you are confident in your skills to pull it off. You don't have to tell everything you know or don't know.

    ibarra4602 Thanks this.

Nothing wrong with construction. I don't mind it. At the end of your shift you go home. I don't want to live in a truck.

Until one of those 4-5 day flooding rain spells that happens once or twice a year in South Texas, then you're STUCK at home for a week watching the bills keep coming in

That's true, but Freymiller will probably be better. Freymiller has a "Restore Program" you probably qualify for.
JBS Carriers will probably hire him also.
FFE (Frozen Food Express) has refresher.
If you're only going to stick around 6 months, it doesn't really matter which company you get the refresher with.
